We’ve been dealing with some serious teething around here. Shrieks and cries have been coming out of this baby’s mouth for a few weeks now, though especially the past week. The teething seems to be really impacting baby’s sleep as well, leaving little to no time for mommy to get anything done during the day. All he wants to do is to be held and comforted.
We’ve tried so many teething toys, and in desperate attempt to find the right teething toy, I went and blew over $40 on teething toys at Target recently. There are THREE teethers baby seems to like the most and I’ll list them out in order below from the best one that seems the best grip wise and soothing wise so you can take a look and decide if it might be something you may want to try for your own teething baby!
- Nuby Silicone Teethe-eez Teether with Bristles – This one is so cheap and comes in at number one. It has a ring for baby to grip it easily, it’s freezer friendly, and has little bristles which baby seems to like. It’s also not too large that baby can fit it in his mouth and chomp on it easily.
- Qs and Ps. My old boss at Wordstream actually told me about these and many people have been asking about them in my Instagram stories. Right now baby really likes the Q because he can hold the circle part and put the leg of the q in his mouth in the front and chew on it. It also is the only thing he takes as a pacifier besides my boob surprisingly! Whew. The P is great for down the line as he gets older and his back teeth come in. It reaches far back and he can chomp down on it. Both of these can be stored in the freezer and will be nice and cold for when baby needs it.
- Organic Maple Teething Ring in Succulent Cactus Muslin – This one is super cute and baby is able to grab it easily. He teeths on the ring a bit but honestly I find him chewing on the muslin more. It seems to make him happy but he doesn’t hang onto it very long.

Finally! Hallelujah! Teething isn't one! I went and blew over $40 on teethers at Target recently in a desperate attempt to find the one baby likes the most (in addition to the teethers we still have from Rainier laying around. ) – We've listed out the top 3 that baby has been enjoying the most the past few weeks, including the Qs and Ps you've been seeing in more stories. No, they didn't top the list though! Find out which one won the battle (and is only $3!!) in my most recent blog post over on littleprettyliz.com (or link in bio). – Do you have any favorite teethers that we've missed over here? Comment below and let me know which ones! #teethers #teethingbaby
